With Hurricane Ian bearing down us this certain weekend, auto racing was off the table, so it was back to the Carlisle Fairgrounds for the Fall Carlisle extravaganza of components searching. Lighter crowd this year it appeared, but the location was still pretty jam-packed, as well as prices were high, as well as deals were there yet tougher to find. We took place simply Friday of the close to weeklong event, so it was an abbreviated trip, but we snooped lots of awesome stuff.

The cars and truck corral had some fantastic offerings, an awesome 1959 Ford Country Squire with well-worn timber grain and also steel port wheels, a bad-ass Willys sports car and also a few fascinating vintage panel trucks. The flea market is constantly chock filled with desirable vintage rate and hot rod parts, from wheels to intakes and also different items of NOS goodness. Souvenirs continues to be tremendously popular, and the prices bear that out. I saw a uptick in classic BMX bikes and also stuffs this year, interesting my 80’s inner youngster. Awesome stuff was almost everywhere.
